Oak Tree Inn - Balmaha

It was an easy base for a short stay. The location was peaceful, and the outstanding breakfast was offered. I had amazing, cool room with a kettle, central heating and a TV.

A double room with a view. Stunning location in the lovely area, really close to magnificent views of the Loch and the foothills and the pub. Again, walking distance to Balmaha Boat Yard;))

I really enjoyed the details, like staff and location, they were pleasant. Got bright and incredible room with the tea, a verandah plus coffee - always come in handy. The location was exceptional, for example, Church was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

The view of the lake from our amazing room was exceptional. Central heating, multi-channel TV and a seating area were available in the room. Our location was stunning and super excellent right in the middle of everything. What's more, it was near other areas around the loch, cafe and pub/restaurant and the foothills...

The beds were super comfy, and the views of the loch were amazing. It was awesome to chill out in the cozy pod, and taking romantic evening strolls was the highlight. Plus, the delicious food really hit the spot!

The layout of the chalets lacks character!!! The noise from the gravel parking and workmen undermines any hope for relaxation, while unclear check-in guidance could really use some clarity!!! Limited nearby entertainment options enhance the sense of isolation!!!

Dinner in the bar was decent, but the real star was the whisky selection that had me feeling chuffed! The location's great for walkers, while the Halloween vibe made it even cozier. Oh, and by the way, the Twin Room was pretty swish, just the right space for unwinding after a hike.

The Oak Tree Inn offers magnificent views of Loch Lomond. The room was beautifully maintained and included complimentary local coffee. The restaurant serves really good food, with locally sourced ingredients prepared with skill that cater wonderfully to business needs.

I stayed in a cozy room with everything I needed and enjoyed the quick access to fine trails like MacDonald Walks and the amazing views from Conic Hill, making my weekend explorations lovely.

The view of Loch Lomond from my room was absolutely breathtaking 😍. The cozy atmosphere really made it feel like a getaway. Just wish the bar had more seating for residents.

The vegetarian food options were limited, yet the view of Loch was fine.

An Unexpected Gem in Balmaha!

This little retreat was so great! The cozy pod we stayed in offered fine views. The evening meal was really good-don't skip the local specialties! Just ensure to check for the right furnishings and you'll be set for a good stay.

We hiked along the path from the back of the village car park to Conic Hill for fine views of Loch Lomond. The Millennium Forest Walk was awesome too! Rooms were cozy, and staff were friendly.
